Who we are
Monitor My Air is run by Alex Yeskolski, a mold and indoor air consultant certified in Mycometer surface fungal analysis, working from Virginia Beach, VA, with clients across the country. The advice here rests on more than 1,000 inspections.
Our investigations draw on the same field discipline taught and practiced by Stanley Yeskolski, President of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), who consults with us on complex cases.
Why this exists
People with a mold or air problem get bounced between a doctor who treats symptoms, a contractor who sells equipment and an inspector who hands over a forty-page report and moves on. Nobody connects the health to the home to the fix. That missing role, one person who sees the whole problem and puts it in order, is what we do.
How we make money
Consultations, investigations, Keystone engagements and a $5 a month library. We take no commissions from remediation companies. Nobody pays us to send you their way, so we have no reason to tell you that you need a $12,000 remediation when a dehumidifier and a weekend would do it.
What we will not do
- Diagnose illness. We investigate buildings and help you bring good information to your doctor.
